Maine Coon Cats
Maine Coon Cats
In keeping with its impressive size, the Maine Coon has a powerful muscular athletic body. They have large, pointed ears held wide and tall and a very intelligent expression on their faces. There is a lot of myth and legend surrounding the origin of this breed, making its story truly enchanting. Maine Coon cats are known for their tufted ears, bushy tails, and impressive size, all testament to their regal charm.
With an attractive coat of tufts on the ears and paws, the dog has a long, thick, glossy, waterproof undercoat covered by a substantial glossy topcoat. The tails of these animals are spectacular and should be at least as long as their bodies so they can wrap them around themselves for extra insulation.
